foobar2000 hangs when playing files over http

Sometimes foobar2000 can hang when playing files over http(s). Usually few minutes of playback is enough. Playback time stuck, seekbar stuck, visualization stuck, high CPU usage (20-40%  of Pentium n3710). I can press stop button, also can close fb2k, but process foobar2000.exe remains active an keeps consume CPU until killed by task manager. It seems that problem occurs on Windows 10, but not on Windows 7. No DSPs are active during playback, output through DS. foobar2000 1.5.5 beta 1

I've had this happen while trying to stream podcast links, too. This was on later versions of 1.4 series, but I thought it must have been fixed from 1.5 because has not occurred since that I remember (and this morning I just streamed a 45 minute podcast no problem; previous times it would stop after anywhere from 3-14 minutes with same CPU spike). And I had tried it on a fresh install with same problem so you can rule out all those components. This was on my last Win 10 (1809/1903) tablet which is now dead.

That example link has been playing fine for 30 minutes now (knock on wood) - FB 1.5.4

1.5.5 beta 3 doesn't hang. But after few minutes of playback error occurs "Network authentication error (80090318)" and playback skips to next track. But in version 1.3.20 (on the same notebook with the same internet connection) the same remote files are playing with no problems.

Thanks, investigating further.
The error message you get is the legitimate effect of the fix (lockup condition turned into an error), but if old version did not fail at all, this has to be fixable on my s ide.
