Why aren't url tags allowed anyways?

If you think the 64 character limit is absurd, try putting some Hebrew into your signature. I couldn't fit my entire given name, "Benjamin David" into my sig. I'm left with simply "Benjamin", which is okay. I still wish I could fit the whole thing. I mean, it's under 16 characters!

I'm a bit baffled by this one as well. Even if it were pr0n you obviously could still give the URL it just wouldn't be an actual link.
