Orban AAC/aacPlus Player Plugin 1.1.52

Is this plugin useful for Windows 10?  It behaves oddly when downloaded.  I'd like to hope that Windows 10 is past the need for this add-on.

According to this, the decoder included in Windows does suport LC and HE AAC.

I don't have any HE-AAC file here right now to test, but plain LC plays fine, even in the Groove Music App.

What I don't know is how is the support on streams having that format.

Low probability question, does the DivX player install any supplementary codecs?

I really don't know. It might work like VLC, (which means, having the codecs available only to the player, not to the system), but I don't know. I found an article in Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DivX
