I find my current set of global keyboard bindings invaluable. You can get very far by binding just: "quit, play/pause, stop, previous track, next track". Personally I keep them on Ctrl-Shift-123qwe, for easy one-hand access.
Stay sane, exile.

I splitted the file in 2 files, skin and the artist folder
If you want to add your own picture, don't forget to create an "artist" folder in the root or change the code or create your own background.

Download the latest version of every plugins if you have some trouble.
For Script problem, look:
1-If you have correctly installed the skin
2-Sometimes reapply the script will active the script.
(right click>configure>apply)

I use Panel Stack Splitter to divide up the window as I like it and to allow the buttons on the left to toggle the section in the middle between
Library Tree
Explorer Tree
Bookmarks
Album Art (default)
Item Properties

Very top is OSD, which is on top of all windows and displays the information of the current track.

I'm not a fan of fonts like "Arial" and "Helvetica" for masses of text (in playlists or main windows); the character -> lowercase "el" "L" <- is not defined enough (amongst other gripes).

I like the way characters are defined in fonts like "Trebuchet MS".

"Arial" and "Helevetica", to me, are great fonts for bold headings and posters OR fine print footer text and tiny layouts.

I redid mine to make it more efficient and pleasing on the eyes.  The buttons at the top control the second PSS.  From left to right: playlist; library; explorer; bookmarks; album art; item properties.

I'm normally torn between wanting a small window but wanting alot of info available.  I'm also horrible at color design.

Throbbing Gristle - 20 Jazz Funk Greats ...

That brings back memories of my "virgin Vinyl original pressing" which I gave away altruistically to a  younger friend who was into sound engineering and also lovingly owned an exquisite digital music collection on his PC.

One day I asked him if I could borrow the Vinyl back so I could make a rip for my posterity. He couldn't find it... he couldn't give me a proper answer... hindsight tells me he couldn't find the courage to look me in the eye and tell me he sold it all on EBAY (ALL as in dozens of other 'rare' vinyl I had also given him).

My reasoning for giving it all to him in the first place was the fact that he was much younger than myself and thus he came from the "Digital/CD/Download" era, and the analog Vinyl era had bypassed him. I thought I would do him a sublime favour and let him "feel" all this stuff from the past...  altruism.

I pleaded a number of times for him to "try" and find the vinyl collection.
He said he would look...
Much time passed; he said he would look...
He changed his living address one day and never rang me or answered phone calls again...
