Internet Radio Search?

foobar 2.1.4
Windows 11 24H2

I have not used this functionality often. I can add, play, and save stations by URL via File>Add Location or the 'Known Stations' tab 'Play by Stream Address' options, but nothing happens on the search tab. 'Loading...' is all I see. and I can only type anything into the 'Name' search, the rest are greyed out. I'm stymied as to why streams would work but search would not. Am I missing something obvious?

At the very least, you should be using the latest version before reporting issues.

2.24.1: https://www.foobar2000.org/download

And typing only in Name seems by design. If you select Country/Tag/Language, you pick one from a list.

I have tried 2.24.1 now with the same result. All of my Foobar builds are portable installations, perhaps that makes a difference? I suspected that the adjoining drop-down box would populate but nothing is downloaded. I can however reach the 'radio-browser.info' site via the hyperlink so I don't know why the UI doesn't load anything.

See attachments, same fb2k, same OS.

edit: does other internet connectivity within fb2k work like checking for new versions/updates?

Yes, the internet connectivity works fine otherwise. Check for new versions, check for new components, I can stream any station that I enter manually. Maybe it has something to do with my ISP, but as I said before, I can get to the radio-browser website so I don't know why the UI wouldn't be able to.
