Best Resampler and Settings?

I'm about to convert some 96Khz 24Bit files to 44.1Khz/16Bit. I'm doing this so all my music is archived in the same sample rate, as my sound card natively supports many sample rates but it's a pain to switch between them.

Since this is for a reasonably large quantity of files and they are in my archive, I would like to know what the best (theoretically) resampled is.  I know most of them will be transparent to me, but still, I'd like to know I chose the best one.

Can anyone suggest?

If anyone is wondering, I went with SOX. 95% pass, high quality, linear phase.
