Correct Volume Setting?

I use Ety ER4-Ss with an Audigy 2 ZS and a Headroom TAH.  I know I need to upgrade the source & amp , but in the meantime, are there any guidelines I should follow when I'm setting global/wave volume, in order to do any amping required with the TAH instead of the Audigy?

With Audigy 2 you should set wave volume at 100% and master at 79% for best sound quality. The latest drivers auto set these as default.

Thanks

I take it that applies equally with kX drivers?

I'm not sure with the KX drivers. I would imagine the controls for volume and wave operate with the card exactly the same. To be on the safe side I would use same settings to avoid any possible problems.
