cdda2wav doesn't seem to read subcode pre-emphasis info correctly for some CDs

Hi, today I encountered a CD that only has pre-emphasis flags in subcode, but not in TOC (and only in some tracks). I usually use EAC to rip, which doesn't support subcode-only pre-em flags any more, so I changed to other tools.

I tested with CUERipper, cdrdao, and cdda2wav, just out of curiosity. Surprisingly, I found that cdda2wav will give incorrect results. Details below.

---

The case in point is this Onyanko Club - Super Best CD, from 80s Japan, which is infamous for pervasiveness of pre-em CDs.

When using CUEripper, its CUE reports only track 1, 6, 9, 11 have pre-em. Since this is a compilation CD, all the tracks can be found in other CDs, I can 95% confirm (by comparison in listening and spectrum analysis) that this is correct.

cdrdao reports similar:

Reading of toc data finished successfully.

(Note: I know it shows "Q sub-channels with CRC errors." for almost all the tracks.. but I don't think it's true. Other users reported similar problems and I encounter it on almost all my CDs in this genre and era).

Then here is the log from cdda-wav, which bugs me:

You can see, it's pretty strange:

For tr. 1, 6, 9, 11 (the tracks that are supposed to have pre-em flag):
It firstly detected pre-em tag in subcode, and corrected TOC;
Then it found no pre-em tag in subcode, and "corrected" TOC AGAIN;

In conclusion (confirmed in .inf file it generated), it considers tr. 1/6/9/11 has no pre-em flag because those two "corrections" cancel each other.

For tr. 5, 8, 10 (all the tracks before the actual pre-em tracks):
It firstly detected pre-em tag in subcode, and "corrected " TOC;
Then it found no pre-em tag in subcode, and "corrected" TOC AGAIN;
Then it found re-em tag in subcode AGAIN, and "corrected" TOC AGAIN (3rd time);

In the end, it marks those tracks as "pre-em", even though they're not.

I have no idea why it behaviors this way.
