What is difference between add to ramdisk and send to ramdisk?

Does it sounds different?
and another question is I have to add or send a playlist to ramdisk every time before playing or just only do it at the first time?
Thanks ^_^

RAM disk doesn't affect sound. Samples are always buffered in all players in all platforms. Send option clears existing tracks and replaces them with what you had selected. Add keeps the existing RAM disk contents intact and adds the selected tracks to the end.

The idea that it would sound different to buffer music entirely in RAM is the biggest lie "audiophiles" peddle with their in-memory audio players, and other scams.

foo_ramdisk has its uses, like for accessing files from remote storage, etc.
