Sample/test audio at various sample rates & depths

Hi,

[Not sure if this is the right forum, I'm sure someone will move it if it isn't.]

I want to feed AAC files at various sample rates and bit depths to my audio player to see which it can handle. Can someone point me to where I can download audio files like that, uncompressed or already compressed? (Or maybe just point to software I can use on my creaky old Windows 95 PC to produce samples at various rates and depths?)

I'd like to try samples at e.g. 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88kHz, 96kHz at 16-bit and 24-bit depths. They don't all have to be of the same music, as I just want to see which play at all.
