problem with rotated letters

Greetings

I've got a problem with rotated characters. It happens only with some special characters. Sometimes it also shows with this character: '

I've no idea why, when, how it happens.

I use...
  foobar 0.9.5.2 but it happend with previous versions too.
  columns ui 0.3 beta 2
  Arial Unicode MS

Maybe you know what it could be.

If you have two entries in the font picker dialog:

@Arial Unicode MS
Arial Unicode MS

Choose the second one without the @.
