DSP association to default device

With Foobar2000 2.0, you can associate DSP to devices. But if you change default device in Windows (not in Foobar2000 where I use "Primary Sound Device"), I guess it will never be usable ?
Do you think it would be possible in the future to use "Primary Sound Driver" in Foobar200 but use DSP associated to Windows default device ?
