Speaker Cable runs?

Question:
If I am wiring up a set of 6.1 Surround speakers, does it actually make any real world difference at all if the front 3 speakers have a shorter cable run than the rear 3 speakers?

Not a problem if it does, but Surely it cannot actually make any difference at all if the front 3 are shorter by 10' than the rear 3 are?
Okay, if it does I'll wire them all equally.
But if this is the case then what effect having the surplus length at the front coiled?
