... using my usb sound card. I don't think this is a usb (1.1) bandwidth issue, since playback is always absolutely fine. It ain't a software thing i think (happens using CoolEdit and Audacity) nor a source thing (same effect from my turntable and cd outs). any solutions? please tell me my laptop's not too slow to handle this (400mhz celeron ). aaaargh.
