foobar2000 mobile / Issues after folder name Change (Android)
Last post by Bongert -
After renaming my music folder, not adding a new one or anything, simply renaming it, foobar2000 on Android now shows the folder as "[Music folder] on local storage". the "on local storage" part wasnt added by me, nor was it there before the name change, nor can i remove it. Changing the name back to its original name in the file explorer didnt help either. it keeps tacking on that "on local storage". its only cosmetic, but its annoying. i dont have a microSD card, the internal storage is the only storage i have. adding any other folder to foobar yields the same results.

You can open any Windows program maximized simply by asking it to run maximized. With foo_run you can for example use command:
Code: [Select]
cmd.exe /C start "" /MAX <path-to-spek.exe> "%path%"
Make sure to tick the "Minimize" checkbox to not see the command prompt wrapper.

I added spek to open with foo_run using - C:\Users\Lenovo\Desktop\spek-0.8.2\spek.exe "%_path%"
but I want spek to open with maximized window, but I don't know how. I tried adding maximized to the end of the command but it didn't work. Can anyone please help me?
Spek 0.8.5 64-bit has been out quite a while, try that: https://github.com/alexkay/spek/releases/tag/v0.8.5

Attached is a test version that appends per-channel DR numbers for multichannel material.

Produces logs like this:

General - (fb2k) / Question about converting with Skip Silence DSP on
Last post by nbel.89 -
Hello,

I have a question about a foobar2000 process.

I have files that I want to convert to the same bit depth and bit rate (e.g. 16-bit/44.1 kHz to 16-bit/44.1 kHz) and add the Skip Silence DSP (set to: 200ms + -100dB). The reason is that, we have a music player at the office that only accepts USB-A input, so I want to make a copy of the songs I like without dealing with long stretches of complete silence (some of these CD-ripped tracks have 3-4 seconds of silence at the end and it takes me out of the listening experience).

With this setting, do I need to dither? Is Skip Silence considered "processing"?

I'm asking because in Audacity, if you do any processing (actions other than trim, cut, copy and paste), you have to enable dither as per their recommendations. I don't know if the 'Skip Silence' DSP is a lot more involved than just copy/paste/cut.

Thanks so much!
