divx is cut on tv?

Hi.

I wonder if you could solve a question I have. When watching a divx video I've made on my computer, every thingo goes ok. But when I burn it into a cd and watch it on my DVD and tv, parts of the divx video on both sides of the screen desappear. The divx size is 592x320.

Any guess?

Probably aspect ratio and/or resolution is set wrong.

A TVs overscan will crop 5-10% from the edge of the video. In addition to the TVs overscan, the DVD player may also crop a small amount from the left and right of the video when it converts the video to an analogue signal to send to your TV.

This cropping is normal; it happens when you watch TV and play normal DVDs too.
