Foobar won't start up

My laptop has worked perfectly with Foobar for a long while, but last night my laptop crashed and I had to turn it off using the power button. Now whenever I try to start Foobar, it brings this error:

Internal Error - Configuration files are unreadable

I've already uninstalled and reinstalled and it still won't work. Any solutions?

EDIT: I run Windows XP, Tablet PC Edition. It shouldn't matter, Foobar has already worked in the past.

I fixed it. I found the corruted file and removed it in safe mode
