nokia 222 + ogg vorbis?

all i could find so far while searching is some device specs that even claim the phone is capable of playing back ogg files? actually this is not correct, it can only handle mp3 files.

so is there any chance to get ogg vorbis encoded audio files running on the nokia 222?

Nope, you will have to use either mp3, aac or wav.
There is no other option.

p.s.: out of curiosity, does there exist a compact non-touch, non-smartphone offering an out of the box ogg vorbis (or even flac) support these days?
