Title: Third-party installer has no icons + does not add artists to left pane
Post by: mindexpunger on 2013-02-03 20:48:12
I recently downloaded link removed (license violation) a skin that includes Foobar.

when I opened the client the icons were not displaying: (http://i.imgur.com/l77UDDf.png)

also whenever I "add folder" to Foobar the "Artist" column always remains 0: (http://i.imgur.com/R8pj7rn.png)

Any solutions? Thanks.

Ask where you downloaded it.

Also, it should not be modified if it's redistributed.

You can always download it from the official site, http://www.foobar2000.org/ (http://www.foobar2000.org/) and the components there.

Huh? I did download it from the official site. I just downloaded a skin also. The problem was still there with the default skin.

Then you ask where you got the skin.

It was from a file sharing site. Sorry. I was just wondering if this was a common problem. Should I post this in the support forum?

No, there's unfortunately no support here if it's a skin from 3rd party. As we can't know how it's made.

If the standard install of foobar2000 works then we can't help you more.

Did it come with a readme?
