WavPack and speex codec

Hello , can WavPack be used like speex codec in Internet Application ( speech ...) transfer ..etc

Otherwise can someone just give me (an)other(s) Audio codec(s) like Speex .

Can you be more specific about your needs?
Are you working with a certain type of audio content; are you looking to stream files, etc.

I'm curious why speex and opus are not ok.    Sure, not everyone can decode them, but that's as much true for wavpak.
