Off-Topic / Record Labels Face Sanctions Over ‘Destroyed’ Piracy Evidence
Last post by soundping -
Internet provider Bright House has asked a Florida federal court to sanction several record labels for 'destroying' evidence that it says is crucial to the ongoing piracy liability lawsuit. In addition to sanctions, the ISP also wants the option to inform the jury about the missing evidence, while testimony based on that information should be precluded from the trial.

Ok in the upcoming update, I will let you have Alt + Click to add items to current playlist, this was already implemented though.
I forgot about this shortcut and it needs to refresh the playlist otherwise you won't see any changes. No need to butcher the double click function =)

in this particular instance, the guitar is on the right track.  so i select each of the irritating places, and do a negative amplification, bringing the volume way down.  i then make a mono track out of it.  re-amplify the quieter sections.
Wave Repair (an application for cleaning-up digitized vinyl) has a "similar" method of removing clicks & pops.   Frequently a vinyl defect only exists in one channel (or it's time-offset in the left & right) and there is an option to copy from left-to-right or vice versa.   Since it's only a few milliseconds you don't usually hear any loss of stereo.   (From what I remember it only allows a few milliseconds.)

Is there any way to open multiple URLs with something like ...

Yup, there is. cmd window flashes but I guess there's a PowerShell way.

Code: [Select]
cmd /c echo|start "" & start ""

Fixed and no cmd window flashes with this bit of extraordinary code:
Code: [Select]
cmd /c start /min start "" & cmd /c start /min start ""

Is there any way to open multiple URLs with something like this below or do I have to go the batch file route? You can do two commands in a batch file so I thought it may be possible to do this with foo_run. See the answer on SO here for running two commands.

PS: I've removed the escaping for clarity in the example below.

Code: [Select] &

Sorry, I guess that's what I was trying to get at.  Just trying to add things to a playlist in a lazy way.  Basically double clicking would add to the "Current playlist" i.e. the custom one I just created instead of having to right click and add or drag like you said.

I think I must have used --import-id3 in the past, when compressing from .dsf to WavPack, and something went wrong with translating the tags to APEv2 there, but I cannot reproduce it anymore in Wavpack 5.4.0. If I compress a .dsf file with an ID3 tag now, using --import-id3, the APEv2 tag keys are used correctly by the WavPack compressor. Perhaps it was a bug that has been fixed long ago, and I only found out after recently having imported the files into Deadbeef.

Hi @flu1d,

why would you want to have this functionality when the "Library View" playlist was designed only for the Library that has temporary content and will always change when you start playing from the Library?
You can just create your own playlists and it won't reset its content when you start playing from the Library, it will just automatically switch to the "Library View" playlist.

To create your own playlists, there are 3 ways to do it:
1. Right click in the playlist > Create new playlist or just Ctrl + N.
2. In the playlist header ( hover with your mouse for the text button link ) > Create new playlist. You can also see the current active playlist name
3. Top menu Playlists > Create new playlist

In the playlist manager ( also found in the same way like mentioned above or Ctrl + M ), you can switch to your created playlists, rename them, rearrange order and also create new ones.

If you created your own playlist, you can drag and drop music to it or from the Library ( be sure your active playlist is your created playlist, not the "Library View", you can check the name in the playlist header ) right click >Add to current playlist.

AndreaT are you perchance using Intel HD 630 video drivers?  There was a long run of a bug in those that resulted in RAM usage by the dwm.exe process (Desktop Window Manager) steadily increasing to monumental proportions.  This has finally been fixed with the newest release of the Intel drivers (  It certainly affected my system (Windows 10 21H2 x64).
General Audio / Re: Getting and running fdkaac and opusenc encoders for dbpoweramp and foobar.

dBpoweramp R17 uses Opus 1.3.1 and if you look here:

1.3.1 is the latest.

Our FDK is 2.0.2 which if you look here, 2.0.2 is the latest:

Opusenc is ok but I want latest fdkaac. Git repository consists of source code and I want executable file. I am asking which is the best way to compile fdkaac ie using gcc or visual studio or msys2 etc.,.

Already I have replied to spoon in dbpoweramp forum. I am doing again as others may see.
