lock foobar-window

hello, there!

is there a way to lock foobar's window, so that noone can alter it (e.g. the columns, tabs, etc.) and/or is there a way to maximize foobar and to keep it like this, for example for a party-jukebox, so that noone has access to the desktop, explorer, and so on. (could be done with another app)

also, how do I save my config for columns_ui including all my prefs regarding the panels, titleformatting and stuff?
(I am a bit confused about all the different configs, I can save, import/export.)

thank you !

I'm pretty sure the answer is basically "no". A kiosk mode/plugin would certainly be great, but I haven't been able to find a good solution for foobar2000.

A search for "kiosk" returns these relevant threads -

For a complete backup:

1) backup foobar2000.cfg. If "preferences > core > startup > enable user profile support" is enabled, then the config files are stored in "C:\Documents and Settings\<user-name>\Application Data\foobar2000\..." for each user. If not, then the config is just stored in the foobar2000 installation directory.

2) Your columns ui config can be backed up as an .fcs file via "preferences > display > columns ui > 'other' tab > importing/exporting"

3) backup all your plugins by copying/zipping the "foobar2000/components/" directory.

best solution I've come up with:

Using foo_fullscreen and a Stickie program

yeah I know

I've even got it set so that the sticky comes up when they start playback using foo_scheduler though for some reason the note likes resizing itself slightly. It would be cool if this could be done via a plugin but I guess it's not worth anyone's effort.

Such a cool idea! I would love to see a plugin that incorporates all of this once .9 is finalized.
