RAM-Disk as target for converter?

Hiyas, the Ramdisk component offers only to be filled from existing files in playlist.
Would it be possible to set Ram-Disk as direct output location for conversion?
If not, is there a different foobar component, or system-wide component that offers slice of RAM as temporary location for result of conversion, thanks.

...You do know that the RAM disk component was originally done for trolling purposes and using it as a diskwriter target is quite redundant?

Hey there,

A quick google reveals a number of guides (like this one) that suggest ImDisk Toolkit. I have never used it so not sure what level of "free" it might be ;)

I doubt you would get any performance benefit for converting unless you have really old HDD.

Cheers
