Hey guys, recently I uploaded the long awaited skin that I created 1 year ago titled Nocturne. It is best for a very large music library viewing.

You can download the first release for the skin at deviantArt link below:

I would definitely love to hear some comments about this skin. Hope you enjoy.

* Do let me know if you experience some performance issue when using a very large music library. So far the only times of slowdown (e.g. not responding when moving files) is when I created a lot of Autoplaylist with thousands of entries per list. Guess that is what causing them.

Here's what I made. Not very impressive compared to some really cool themes, but it works for me.

My first question is: is there a way to get rid of the scrollbars in the filters panels?

Secondly, how do I make the play/pause button display a button for play and one for pause depending on the state?

Thirdly, can I customize the volume bar?

One more, can I make all of the background be one color? I tried and there are some borders here and there that remain white.

And lastly, any feedback is appreciated, if you have any advice on fonts or colors or whatever, I'd love to hear it.

Marc,

Thanks for posting your config and for such a nice job you've been doing with the WSH project, it's awesome...

I downloaded your config and would like to make a few modifications, or at least attempt to.  I have no programming experience except for a bit of tagz I learned to build my own config using Columns UI.

I would like to add to your configuration a tab next to Musicbrainz called "Folders" which when enabled, would display the following:  a split screen where on the left side  there will be the Album List's Folder Structure and on the right side, from top to bottom: Spectogram, Analog VU meter, Spectrum and at the bottom, display the full name of the artist and song, along with codec, sample rate, file size and bitrate.  I am including a rough layout pic...

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!

those spectrum/spectrogram panels can only be integrated into a default UI layout, not columns. i haven't a clue about the VU meter.

i've added the Library tree component to the config so you can browse by folder. i've consolidated it with Artists and Albums under a main Library tab. there is also a new Properties panel.

extract the configuration and user-components folders again. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2280132...olumns%20ui.zip

Impressive. I like very much how you integrated Last.fm on the player. I'm also a statistics addict!

Would you care to share it? I think it's time I start looking more deeply at ColumnsUI, but all that scripting always frightened me.  Thanks!

the last.fm panel can be added to any default UI or columns UI layout. you just need to install WSH panel mod, add a panel and import last.fm charts.txt from this pack of scripts. full instructions and links are inside.

kjllmeplz has tweaked it a little but my original is essentially the same.

Thanks marc2003 for the pointers! I'll give it a go in default UI for now. *thumbs up*

To use it, install fonts, extract appdata.rar into your foobar2000 profile folder, copy the skins folder into your main foobar2000 folder.
Open foobar, choose "Colums UI".
In first maybe it don't show right panel, click options, check and uncheck  "Show only Playlist".

could you share this?

or does anyone know what component he is using on the bottom left?

It's graphical browser, anyway here is the .flc file

actually i've got another question; i see in your screenshot you selected a genre and the artists list gave you the artists of that genre, how did you achieve that?

You can use filter panels in columns ui.
