MPC WinAMP Plug-In 0.90b (Replaygain, Gapless, Crossfade, AP

Description from Frank's site:

LATEST: experimental WinAMP plugin (most work was done by Andree, not by me!)

Replay gain support (7 modes, should be enough for everyone) (Andree)
Gapless bug fixed ! (thanks to vladimirovich)
ID3v2 ignoring (Andree)
Multi language support via ONE source (Andree) (currently supported: English, German, Dutch)
Monkey's Audio APE tag support (I need (small!) files to test this!)
Also need: Small ( <100 KB) files with Ogg tags (for tests)

UPDATE: There's an attenuation bug in this release. All files will sound -1.58dB quieter than they should, even with 0dB headroom. You should update to 0.90c version when available!

So does id3v2 cause no problems now or should I better use external tags?
Anyway: strange that Franks changed his mind about this. When I wrote him his reply was kinda like that I was insane for asking about it.

Yeah but you should think that they didn't have SUCH different opinions.

Still would like to know how good the handling is.
