Automatic replaygain, and give zero/null replaygain

Is there any way (Via addons or otherwise) to make foobar automatically add replaygain to files when they are played/added to the library and don't have it?
And related because it could turn into an issue, why doesn't foobar give 0.0 values when something like this happens? It seems counterintuitive to make it seem like replaygain wasn't scanned when the file simply doesn't need it.

Automatic scanning would no doubt be possible to implement but it could easily cause issues. You can't for example album scan if you only add individual files.
Storing ReplayGain value 0.00 dB would mean the file's loudness already matches the ReplayGain target level. A file that is nothing but silence is quite different. Original ReplayGain specs suggested storing such error case as "not set". Leaving the adjustment value empty but storing peak tags signals exactly that.

You could create an autoplaylist with the query pattern %replaygain_track_gain% MISSING to view all the files without Replay Gain information. See here for your preferred tag.

I already have that set up, I just wondered about fully automating it.
