Foobar Mobile for Webradio - Playlist listings

I like to use foobar mobile to listen to webradio streams, which I list and structure in playlists. However, I did not find a way how to show the station name in the playlist listing, in the playlist usually the ending part of the hyperlink of the respective radio station is shown. For example the 'My Radio' Webradio with the link http://185.105.4.53:.4600/stream lists as 'stream' within the foobar mobile playlist listing.... makes it difficult to select a specific webradio station

I tried generating both m3u and pls playlists with the syntax as shown here to include the webradio station name, but the specified radio name is not shown in the playlist listing for both cases (still hyperlink ending shown).

The other option would be to use the internal foobar mobile capability to create and populate playlists via 'add to playlist', but here as well I see the same behaviour: only the hyperlink ending is listed. And I did not find a way to edit the foobar mobile internal playlists to change the station name listing (probably stored in a format similar to .fpl at foobar) - I did not even find a file which contains the foobar mobile internal playlists on my android.

I thought about using m-TAGS as used in foobar e.g. by footuner... does anyone know if m-TAGS are supported in foobar mobile?

Any hint to improve the webradio playlists would be great!

My hint.

Use the internal playlist creation to create unique playlist for each station.

1.  Go to play location and add your url
2. Select create playlist
3. Rename the playlist to the stations name(long tap the playlist)

Repeat process for new station.

That way you will have a list of playlists with the stations names to select.

Of course you could  create unique m3u or pls for each station (eg MyRadioName.m3u) and add the folder to playlist folders in the Media Library Selection.

@MojoBass

FYI
I have added the option in footuner to export playlist entries to m3u.
(with [station's name - id] as the filename)

https://github.com/smoralis/footuner/commit/c14905155224f8fe996f1c75f4bdb9310f01977d

Select any amount of playlist entries.
Click "Convert to m3u" - the last button in the buttons top right.
You will find the m3u's in profile\themes\footuner\m3u folder.
Copy them to your device's playlist folder that you defined in the Media Library Selection.

I have the same issue as @MojoBass describes.
@zeremy's suggestion to create unique playlists for each url has its drawback as forward / back buttons cannot be used in the playback control window and Next item is not displayed. The hyperlink ending is still shown instead of the station name.

I did try to use .pls file with the station name in the Title section, but it didn't work either. Is the Title line being ignored completely?
VLC player, for example, picks the Title up, but only when .pls files are chosen from the catalog, but the playlist.

Actually, I had the same thought, and I see the restrictions mentioned from Seras, but for me it still is a huge improvement!

@zeremy - this is really great, thanks very much! Works perferct and helps a lot when importing a larger number of stations!! :)
