Request related to playlist creation

It tends to get very tedious for me to manually create m3u playlists for individual albums, because to do so each time i have to change ".fpl" to ".m3u", navigate to the album directory, and then enter a file name. Is there any way the following changes would be made?

- default to .m3u either through an option or remembering last choice
- automatically "start" save dialog in the file(s)'s directory, not the last used directory
- allow playlist filename to automatically default to, say, "<Artist> - <Album>"
