y can't I lame in real time?

y can't I lame in real time?
I have lame on one pc running fine. I installed the inf file, and encode to lame in real time.
on this other pc lame runs. I installed the inf, but lame doesn't appear in the real time encoding options , as M$ mp3 does.
running win2k.
tried uninstalling it from the device manager/audio codecs.
then reinstalling.
no go :-(
any idea how come I can't ?

10x,
Niv

Devices have nothing to do with it at all.
What ripper are you using? If it's iTunes or WMP, don't expect much help with them.
