Foobar2000 taking forever to read .7z/.zip archive

This is a 300Mb .7z pack with module music (.xm/.it/.mod)

Foobar2000 is taking forever to read the archive and consuming up to 3Gb RAM.

Either .7z or .zip (foo_unpack.dll / foo_unpack_7z.dll) it never ends reading the archive.

Is there something could be done to fb2k read this pack?

It's an archive full of many folders and stuff. Better extract it and play it that way.

If it's a solid archive, you'll just end up unpacking the whole thing every time you play a single file anyway. These archive readers were really only meant for small archives.

I extracted all the files and repacked in simple .zip format (non-solid archive) but still taking huge amount of resources.
Strange thing is that I used to play this file in a couple of fb2k versions behind
