Hey all,
My name's Darryl and I'm an electronic DJ/Producer from Ireland. First off, let me say thanks for having me, I look forward to expanding my knowledge a bit more in the field of audio technology! I'm currently studying for my masters in Music Technology at the University of Limerick in Ireland. The reason, I'm here is because I'm in need of some guidance with regrards my research topic for my thesis. I've chosen to investigate the use of psychoacoustic phenomena as a compositional tool in post-digital glitch music.
I have a few ideas of how I want to use psychoacoustic phenomena as tools when composing glitch music. For example; using a series of transposed glitches in a stereo playback medium to reproduce Dr. Dianna Deutsch's octave illusion. So I guess I'm here to have other potential idea thrown at me but also to be recommended up to date or relevant papers on the use of psychoacoustics in composition. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not a paper, but a person, but relevant nonetheless: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maryanne_Amacher (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maryanne_Amacher)
