Hi. How assign hot keys to an action list, not a separate action, on a scheduler?

Hi there,

Are you referring to Scheduler component?

In Preferences > Scheduler, you can make a new Event > 'On menu item' event, then right-click it to assign the Action list you want (that you created below). Once clicking Apply, the command is available under File > Scheduler > [event name] and you can assign a hot key to it in Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts.

The Action list can contain multiple menu commands by using 'Launch Application' action and calling foobar command line options such as -

Code: [Select]
foobar2000.exe /command:"Play or pause"

If doing so it might be worth installing foo_run_main to get access to dynamic menu commands. (Edit > Sort menu, etc). In this case it would look like -

Code: [Select]
foobar2000.exe /run_main:Edit/Sort/Randomize

Finally, it might be wise to insert a 'Delay: X seconds' action in between each 'Launch Application' action depending on what you are doing?

Cheers

Yes,  scheduler component. Do you distinguish between an expression a list of actions from a single action? How to assign one hotkey on the several/many actions at once?

^ Yes, I told you above.

Preferences > Scheduler -
- Make an 'On menu item' Event.
- Make an Action list (can add multiple actions).
- Right-click the Event > Assign the Action list.
- Click Apply.

Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts -
- Add a shortcut to [main] > File > Scheduler > [event name].
- Click Apply/OK.

Sorry... Exactly, through the 'on menu item'. Thank you.
