Edge Chromium is available as a native Linux app. A windows application running in WINE cannot interface with that in anyway. Someone would have to be insane enough to try and get the windows version running in WINE. That's very unlikely....

Secure mode is:
1. more likely to be fooled by consistent errors than Burst T&C and AccurateRip are
2. significantly slower
3. more stressful on the hardware

I should add that by "secure mode" in the above quote I actually mean "secure mode without C2 pointers and with a caching drive", which is how the majority of people configure their EAC.

OP has a Plextor Premium 2, one of the drives that apparently can be somewhat trusted with reporting errors and support defeating cache with FUA.
So the OP can probably enable secure mode with C2 pointers and the -usefua switch and obtain very similar performance to burst mode, a luxury most other drives don't offer, with the caveat that without AR confirmation, another burst/secure pass (or T&C from the start) is still advised.

I'm not going to bother reading/watching it...

He remains tight-lipped about his process so he can make money off of it, and even has a Patreon
A patent has to be published so you can't keep it a secret.

I'm always super-skeptical about any secret audio processes because almost everything that can be done with DSP has been done and is well understood.   Any "new idea" probably isn't really new and probably not that hard to do.   Some things like AutoTune had to wait for processing power to come-around.     As processing power increases we'll probably get better un-mixing and at some point artificial singers.

Celemony does seems to have a secret algorithm for Capstan and they probably have a patent but they aren't making claims of a "new discovery" or "new theory" and in-time other people will figure-out how to duplicate it (and the price will come down).

Aphex made money from the "secret" Aural Exciter but there weren't computers in every studio and in every home that could easily analyze what it was doing.   Now exciter effects are easy to find.

Hopefully that will help users who use windows and choose not to install internet explorer or those who use WINE.
I'm not sure if it'll help WINE-using folks, since it's still Internet Explorer, just a new one and Chromium-based (and I'm sure it's not a pure Chromium clone).

Too soon to have a build to test it?

And I saw that you merged the marc2k3's pull requets about playcount stats.

Thanks both of you.

Realtek ALC662, driver version: (2.81). Trying to play 5.1 24-bit track in 1.6.7 beta 12.

foo_out_wasapi: 5.1 track is played. All channels are audible if "5.1" is set in Realtek HD Audio Manager, and only two channels are audible if "Stereo" is set.
Built-in exclusive: Unrecoverable playback error: Unsupported stream format: 44100 Hz / 24-bit / 6 channels (0x3F).

(And, for some discs - singles foremost! - there will be another totally unrelated piece of music with exactly the same track lengths, and you will have a LOT of apparent disagreement because AccurateRip identifies by track lengths and not by music.)

I am not sure how AR or CTDB identify rips but in each report there is hash to CTDB base entry and one can check what kind of CD it is showing. And with this hash there are AR entries related to.
foobar2000 mobile / Re: foobar2000 mobile files taking up more space on the device than they should?

not by the looks of it. when i look at the album folders on my phone through the "foobar2000 media folder" section, all that's in them is the mp3 files. i assume the album art's just been added as metadata. you might be onto something though.

anyway, since i posted this thread i managed to cut down my music library to fit on my phone by getting rid of stuff i didn't need, so it's mostly no longer a problem for me. still a weird problem that it might be good to get to the bottom of though.
You will need to look in those folders with a separate file browser app to see all files in your media library. Foobar2000 will only show the media files. Just a few folders will tell you if these images have been copied. They are going to be in the Album sub folder, usually named folder.jpg or cover.jpg, something along those lines.

Thank you very much.  I set it to 25 and don't have to squint to see it now,  FYI, Georgia doesn't have this issue.  It's been working fine for years. without the extra line of code you added.  There must be a subtle difference somewhere.  I have Georgia in a DUI panel if that makes any difference.  They're both great themes with their own pros and cons (mostly pros).

Damn, I found the culprit once you mentioned it is not in Georgia...
Actually the biography script is overwriting the tooltip font size value of georgia-main.js :D.

It's in the biography.js current line 1599:
Code: [Select]
this.create_tooltip = () => tooltip = window.CreateTooltip("Segoe UI", 15 * sBio.scale * ppt.get(" Zoom Tooltip (%)", 100) / 100, 0); this.create_tooltip();

Gonna delete the commit on Github as it is not needed...
