I tried the wma plugin ( in_wm.dll ) from Winamp 2.01, 5.01, 5.112 & 5.35 . None of them work.
The wma files play perfectly with Winamp 5.35.
Please let me know where I can get a wma plugin for 1by1.
Thanks.
You need to describe your problem more clearly. What's 1by1?
1by1 is an audio player: http://mpesch3.de1.cc/1by1.html (http://mpesch3.de1.cc/1by1.html)
You might try the 1by1 support forum. This has little to do with generic lossy codecs, and more about "1by1" itself: http://www.mpex.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=17 (http://www.mpex.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=17)

Went thru that forum (*), couldn't find anything except "Winamp 2 plugins may work". Tried plugins from WA 2.01 and 2.91, failed. However, WA 2.xx does play the files correctly.

Did you try the ones at rarewares (http://www.rarewares.org/files/others/in_wm.zip)? IIRC, they worked for me (at least one of the two), but I haven't used 1by1 for quite some time

I'd suggest you dump all the in_ plugins from the winamp 5 setup into your 1by1 plugin directory. Then manually remove the ones you don't want. This is what i did when i was using 1by1 (Back when tak plugin was unavailable for foobar). I do remember getting wma files to work with this method.
To answer my question : Just found a 'plugin pack for 1by1' here :

in_wm.dll + Wmaudsdk.dll: Adds support for Windows Media Audio (WMA). No seeking problems or crashes so far.
- "RecommendedPlugins": contains all the DLLs that most people will probably need and in the versions suggested by the Readme, along with those three I added. They will give support for the following (and various other) formats: AAC, AIF, AIFF, APE, AU, CDA (i.e., reading audio CDs), FLAC, M4A, MAC, MID, MIDI, MOD, MP2, MP3, MPC, OGG, VOC, WAV, WMA.
- "OtherPlugins": contains some alternative decoders, like in_cdda for use instead of in_CDReader, in_mad or in_mp3 instead of ACM/mpglib, etc. It also includes "in_snes.dll" (adds support for SNES music files) and "in_mpp.dll" v1.7.9f (for MPC and MP+ files). This last DLL is not working for me, which is why I'm using "in_mpc.dll" v0.99g instead. (in_mpp gives an "Invalid or unknown MP+/MPC bitstream" error when opening more recent MPC files; I believe it's because it was made for MPEGplus, before the transition to Musepack.)
