JBL L40 questions

I recently came into possession of a pair of JBL L40's.  Unfortunately, they are banged up and butchered.  The tweeters are missing all together and the foam surrounds are all but disintegrated.  The cabinet and grills themselves are in very good shape.  I'm not necessarily looking to make the "original" but I wouldn't mind turning them into a decent pair of speakers.  My number one concern is replacement tweeters.  I'm not gonna spend the $100 or so a pair of original tweeters would go for on Ebay.  Does anyone have suggestions for a decent replacement tweeter (preferably something from www.partsexpress.com)?  Also, should I refoam the original woofers or should I just replace them all together?
