Title: Identify a track
Post by: fuflo on 2013-03-18 21:31:09
Hello.

I'm losing my mind over this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIqbhj8bPm0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIqbhj8bPm0)

I'd like to know if it's some known track, and if so, name of the artist and the title of this track.
Don't mind the video itself

Already tried shazam and soundhound. no success..

This is clearly about music specifically and not audio in general, and General Audio isn’t going to become a drop-in centre for identifying songs.

I Googled thirty nine steps game soundtrack. From the second result (http://www.polygon.com/2013/1/3/3831728/deconstructive-game-adaptation-of-the-thirty-nine-steps-hits-pc-mac):

Developed on the Unity engine, the six to seven hour game includes an original soundtrack by the product features an original soundtrack by Si Begg
I guess that’s the first thing to try.

Of course, it’s very ‘phone hold music’, so it could just as easily be unrelated to the game and just an easy stock track to use as backing to the video (which, in itself, gives a rather cryptic portrayal of its subject matter).

Sorry.

Anyway, tried the OST already. It's not from it.

Going by the sketchy general quality of that video, i'd assume it's just some generic track put on the video. That's why i'm asking..

You could leave a comment on the video and ask. Maybe the author will answer, or if the video is popular enough another viewer might know.

Fair guess, and I think that would be my conclusion, too.

I thought this too, and I’ve no idea why I didn’t post it. Haha. So thanks.
