Delay between two different soundcards

I use my computer to DJ.  I use PCDJ software to beat match and mix tracks together.  To do this I need two soundcards: one to play out to the crowd, the other to help me beat match and cue up the next track to play.

Unfortunatley there appears to be an ever so slight delay (it must be only a few miniseconds) between the music coming into my headphones and the music going out of the speakers).  And a few miniseconds makes a lot of difference in this game!

My question is: Is there any way to remove the delay between these two sound cards?

Tech Info:
Soundcard 1: Realtek AC'97 (built on to motherboard)
Soundcard 2: Yamaha ... (something or other)
OS: XP

Thanks in advance!

Chris
