foo_playcount: Help with "added" statistic

I just added foo_playcount to my new foobar installation which created the "added" playback statistic under properties. Of course, my entire library is subsequently "added" on todays date.

Is there a way to take the "date modified" from the actual files and overwrite the current playback statistic with that data?

I have read that you can import an XML file using the playlist statistics component, but I'm not sure how I would get that data onto an XML sheet into the first place.
