Error message when running Foobar from external program

Good morning,

I am facing an error message when launching Foobar from a program (using SheelExecuteEx) with a directory (containing flac files) as parameter
==> "Internal error - one or more of the installed components have been damaged"

Running the command issued by the program from the command line works as expected

I have carefully checked the call from my (Delphi) program              ==>  [Foobar2000_directory\Foobar2000.exe Directory-with-flac-files]
- using another program works as expected (ex Boom.exe  )    ==> [Boom_directory\Boom.exe Directory-with-flac-files]
- launching a command which launches foobar works fine                  ==> [Player.cmd Directory-with-flac-files], where Player.cmd contains : Foobar2000_directory\Foobar2000.exe %1

I have Foobar2000 (V.1.2.8) installed in portable_mode_enabled - all components up-to-date. I am running Windows 7 64bits (all required windows patch regularly applied through Windows Update)
I have tried with a fresh very basic install.
Foobar2000 troubleshooter reports "No known problematic components found".

What else could I try ? Any clue ?  Thanks in advance.
