Hi all,
just starting with CUERippier 2.1.6, so maybe abeginner's question here.
I put a CD in, run CUERipper and I get a green progress bar in the lower right corner while CUERipper fetches the metadata; it finds it and all is fine.
The problem is that after a few seconds (~30 or so), it scans for it again, and then (after another 30s) again, and then again, no end.
So if I manually edit the metadata, when it scans for it again I lose my changes.
Is there something I'm doing wrong ?
MaX.

I'm not certain whether that pondered fix was applied.
Some other software may be checking drive status every 30 seconds.

Just noticed that if I connect my optical drive to an USB 2.0 port (on my keyboard) instead of the USB 3 front panel port, the thing doesn't happen. Weird, but as a workaround I can live with that :)

Hmm scratch that, it does it even on my USB 2.0 port (albeit it seems to have more time between re-scans).

Yep, looks to be the same issue I have.
Should I open a new issue in the tracker ?
I would.
Just created the issue on GitHub: CUERipper 2.1.6 periodically scanning for metadata (https://github.com/gchudov/cuetools.net/issues/20)
Thanks
You should fix the links on github
the format is [alternate description](url), I think you put the url inside the brackets.
or do away with the surrounding []() and just use the link.
Sorry, my bad. Fixed now.
