Play to external renderer

Hi,

Newbie. Need simple answers!

Can I play from Foobar2000 iOS and Android to a streaming device connected to my amp/speakers? If so, how?

Thanks in advance

James

Thanks, but I find these can’t cope with gapless playback of FLAC files, which is unsatisfactory.

In an upnp setup the renderer is typically both streaming and playing the content so it has to support gapless playback I'd say. If you are looking for a way on how to overcome this with Foobar 2000 mobile then that would transcode I guess and play it all as a single track. If this is indeed what you are looking for then Bubble upnp has so called audio cast feature where it can capture audio from a different app and play it on a remote upnp renderer.
