Did I install WASAPI Component properly

I followed the instructions, and it is listed in the "installed components" section, but in the past I had to select it from some output setting somewhere. I don't see that option anywhere.

I just want to make sure I have done everything I need to make it work.

You don't need to install any WASAPI component at all. WASAPI shared is built in to v1.6.0+ and native support for exclusive mode was added in v1.6.7. So even if you're avoiding 2.0, you should have it anyway.

See the Preferences here for picking a device with exclusive mode...

Thank you, I knew those settings were somewhere, I forgot about expanding the selections nested in playback.

Any thoughts on Push vs Event? I have an RME ADI2 DAC FS.

I have found that WASAPI (or the default driver for my RME ADI2 DAC fs) doesn't dynamically change the sampling rate, but apparently ASIO does. Is ASIO also integrated into Foobar?
