foobar2000 v1.4.1 beta 6 - ReplayGain-scan true peak values not the same anymore

I have noticed a few beta versions ago (don't remember when it really started) that the true peak values resulting from the replay-gain scanner are not exactly the same anymore, compared to v1.4 (always using the 4 times oversampling setting). The difference is really tiny but still. Also scanning seems reaaaaally slow again.

Has anyone else experienced the same?

The built-in PPHS resampler seems to still/again misbehave after the recent changes to support the ridiculous DSD1024 sample rates. The slightly different peak values aren't dangerous but hint that the resampler performs its calculations differently now.
While waiting for a fix you could install SoX resampler. It should improve the scanning speed and be even faster than PPHS ever was.

The next update (beta7 or final) will address resampler speed. Thanks for pointing out.
