FB2K interface design

The foobar2000 player has been used on the Windows platform and has been in use since its release on the MAC platform. Nowadays, players are getting better and can be customized for layout, but the interface always appears rudimentary. Based on the layout I am currently using, I have redesigned the interface and hope to provide the development team with FB2K interface reference

You can provide a completely new custom ui yourself for foobar2000. This is possible for foobar2000 on windows and also on macOS. Just download the SDK and start coding.

For me, current foobar2000 on Mac is fantastic and totally flexible ui-wise since the introduction of the layout system.

They specifically said they're happy with the current customisation options so obviously they have not written their own UI replacement using the SDK. You'd need insane C++ skills to do that.

Columns UI is a an entire replacement on windows. While the mac now has an SDK, I'm not sure an entire UI replacement is even possible and even if it were, no one is taking it on. Look how many 3rd party components there are for mac right now. A DSD decoder and pretty much nothing else?  :o

Pretty much what marc2k3 said. According to Peter, a ui replacement for mac foobar2000 is possible with current SDK (I asked him before I replied).
