Strange Phenomena when adding a CUE file to an existing Playlist

re:  Foobar 1.42 (and possibly earlier releases)

Under windows 10 (and I suspect Windows 7 to 8 as well), when a large entire CD FLAC or entire CD WAV (or similar like WAVPack) is downloaded along with a CUE sheet, if a user is within a Playlist of say a few hundred songs or few thousand (amount makes no difference just using an example), and the End User via Windows Explorer right clicks the CUE file and chooses "Open With Foobar", the titles of the rip appear correctly however the entire list of songs that were previously in the Foobar playlist disappear vs adding to the existing playlist.  All that appears its the tracks in the large CUE file.  Another words if I have 2000 tracks in a Windows Explorer folder called SACD, and a playlist called SACD with all 2000 tracks, when I try to add the large WAV file its one contiguous file with no titles, not so great.  Only option is to then locate the CUE file, open with Foobar and have them added to the existing playlist but as mentioned it wipes out all the previous tracks in the playlist.  The only work around I have found is to create a new Playlist (call it Test), while in that empty playlist TEST, I then repeat the above process, all the tracks load from the CUE sheet. I then drag the tracks over to the SACD Foobar playlist.  This is the only work around I can surmise.  If I forget and overlook this point, then I have to add the entire SACD Windows folder back in to the SACD Foobar Playlist with 2000 tracks again and repeat the above work around.

Perhaps I am doing something incorrectly or possibly this may need a fix.  Open to any and all ideas - thanks much.

You need to use "Enqueue in foobar2000" instead of "Open With foobar2000". Also you can drag you cue file directly to the end of existing playlist. No need to drag it to empty playlist first.

Can also enable 'Set Enqueue as the default action' in File menu > Preferences > Shell Integration.

Grateful for the replies.  The drag n drop is a simple solution, works well.  I've enabled the Shell integration.  Now when right clicking via Windows Context menu a CUE file and choosing Foobar, the playlist loads nicely with additional CUE files be added vs. replaced.  Thanks again.
