CueRipper Ripping Error: Timeout on Logical Unit

Has anyone ever experienced this issue before?
For reference, when using EAC on the same system, or any other program with ripping functionality, I encounter no problems whatsoever when it comes to ripping/utilizing the drive. And on another system, every ripping program I use including CueRipper works without issue.
But why is it that CueRipper does not work on this particular system? How do I fix any problems with the aforementioned "Logical unit" that prevent CueRipper from being able to rip anything?
