GSM Codecs

Hi.. have been working on implementing all the GSM codecs and was trying to implement the FR/HR/EFR/AMR codecs together .

If anyone has worked on this before, could you tell me if you had any trouble in using common routines for all?
For example using the same LPC module/Filters/etc  for the overall implementation.

Also due to the partial similarity of the decoder with the some elements of the encoder( as is the acse with all the AbS codecs)...is it feasible to use the routines in the encoder as the decoder itself?
