Album artist question ...

I'm not sure if this belongs in this forum ... I have 2 files purchased from iTunes that have 2 artists on the track (So & So feat. What's His Face).  iTunes puts the featured artist in the Title tag, which I hear is a big no-no.  So I put it in the Artist tag as shown above and put just the first artist (as it would be sorted in a music store) in the Album Artist tag.  iTunes treats these 2 songs as separate artists and albums, which is really annoying.  I'm following the standard, my question is, is Apple and iTunes?  Or am I doing this wrong.  Thanks for any help.
