Please be aware that much of the software linked to or mentioned on this forum is niche and therefore infrequently downloaded. Lots of anti-virus scanners and so-called malware detectors like to flag infrequently downloaded software as bad until it is either downloaded enough times, or its developer actually bothers with getting each individual release allow listed by every single AV vendor. You can do many people a great favor when encountering such a "problem" example by submitting them to your AV vendor for examination. For almost everything on this forum, it is a false positive.

Hello, I have a simple and quick suggestion, I don't think it has been suggested before.
I would very much like another mode to be added in the "Order" dropdown menu: stop after the currently playing track, which could be summarized as Stop (@end of track) or Last track or something similar.
Maybe the "Order" label should be renamed "Play Mode" or something along this line.
I think it's simple to add and some other people may find this useful, but maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks for the input so far, I looked around and none of the suggestions are directly available to me.
What is available so far is:
Adam A3X (at 600 euro / pair + all cables, slightly out of price range but can be done)
Klipsch R-41PM
System Audio Saxo 3

Based on the descriptions of the last 2 it seems like they will try to enhance the audio though (as it seems they expect mostly digital input and Analog via RCA is a "bonus"?), not sure I want that when my signal is already analog?

CUETools / Re: CUERipper doesn't like my drive.

I have this issue but with a laptop that has an internal drive (which is recognized by EAC as well as other CD ripping software), but for some reason CueRipper always says there's an "error in the logical unit" whenever I try to use it to rip any CD.
It doesn't run into this problem with an all-in-one desktop that I also use for ripping CD's.

CUETools / Does CueTools support index mark-based splitting?

EAC can capture the index markers within individual tracks on a CD and can rip them according to that, but does CueTools have this ability?
If it does not, then would it be possible to include support for it?

Below is an example of a cuesheet with index-marked tracks. At the moment it doesn't seem like any other ripping (or splitting) software besides EAC can handle it. It would be nice if CueTools could do this as well.

Many people here can confirm that using foobar2000 for re-encoding is safe.

I searched and found one post I remembered again on Hydrogenaudio:

To be more precise: There is no technical problem with Foobar2000 and reencoding, but Foobar2000 can't replace/update existing files, it always creates new one which creates extra work afterwards.

The "easiest" solution seems to add some characters to the new file name. When the encoding is done, you have to delete all files without the the extra characters and remove these characters from the new files:

What I would do, use source folder, and and then use %filename%-16 for the output filenames, this will allow you to convert, then you can easily filter out all the tracks that don't have "-16" in the filename and remove them.

Something you may add in the future, if you feel like it: Neon on aarch64 supports float32x8 and float64x4 too, I think. It also supports a single intrinsic or opcode to sum up all of the vectors of a single register into one output, instead of having to pick them one at a time and add them with conventional math, using the vaddv opcode or intrinsics.

For example, this simple resampler in libsidplayfp:

Doing it with vectors of ints, though. Wish I'd known that it uses such small ratios to begin with. (~99 samples to 1)
