i realy can`t stand command lines..
(using command lines in a frontend.. is good.)

Correct me if I'm wrong: NERO is the GUI/Frontend....
Or, if you don't like it: Use the commandline with EAC

Enough GUI?

Right. And you can probably also adapt multifrontend to work with this proggie.

@people: aacmp32.dll is the DLL that tells aac.dll that this is a registered version of the AAC plugin. When this DLL is available in the /audioplugins folder, the 50 encodings limitation is removed.

Gday...

sorry about that guys.. i have a small problem..
speak before i think..

yes.. kinda sorted out now.. nencode works with batchenc..
i assume multfront to.. but the encoding time is rather slow..
compared to nero..

awesome work..

a bwt. here to.: i dl.n.zip.. (rarewares)
as above postings say..
it is depended on mfc71.. & msvcr71.
is there any possibilities to get a build that`s not dependent
on these.

I wrote an installer for this program.
It includes the .nsi script, uninstaller, Start menu' shortcuts, both MFC files, Nero' s dlls but not aacmp32.dll (it' s freeware, not warez  ).

Installer
Installer uncompiled
___

EDIT 1:
Now aacmp32.dll will be copied automaticaly if detected.

EDIT 2:
Installer uploaded on this forum.

I thought that aacmp32.dll is not needed but it looks like it is part of the registered version.
Thanks

The DLLs are now located at \program files\common files\ahead\audioplugins\

Ahhh thanks Roberto, didn't see them there and was too lazy to do a system search

there is a optional item isn't displayed in the choosing box that contains in nero6!

and the aac file that made by nEncoder doesn't work!
and the aac file that made by nero6 works well!
they use the same dlls!!  why?
(the problem only occours in nero6.0.0.9's aac.dll file!)

and can somebody make the button that  was displayed gray usable?(it must be
excellent)

I tried it out last night with the Nero 6.0.0.15 DLLs and it worked great.

aacmp32.dll does not seem to be needed for Nero 6 encodes since there is no limitation that I know of. It must only be needed for the Nero 5 seperate plugin version.

Thanks for taking the time to do this, GREAT WORK. I can finally do discs faster and stay in EAC. Makes things a LOT easier.

ok let me explain.

i found that there are 5 optional parameters on the choosing box in nero6 but only 4 in the box that start by nencoder!
and there are two button can't be used(they are gray)!

PNS checkbox will show up only for bitrates equal or less than 96k.
Calculator button and Fit-To-Size are grey here but I'm sure that I had these working at one time. May be it was with 6.0.0.9.
The file that didn't work - was it .aac track or .mp4? What was the setup that you used?
The only thing that doesn't work and I know of is when you select  - Create hint track. It crashes after the encoding - when it tries to add the track I guess. If you have time - debug and change the code to handle this.

Does anyone know a proper way to utilize nencode.exe and tg.exe with MAREO?  I thought of the following lines, which, although they work, generate a code 1 error.
Quote
mp4 NONE NONE "C:\nencode\nencode.exe" "@source@" "@dest@"
mp4 NONE NONE "C:\nencode\tg.exe" "@dest" --artist "@artist@" --album "@cdname@" --title "@songname@" --track "@track@" --year "@year@" --genre "@genre@"

Thanks for your anticipated response!

Yes, it's richard123's MP4 command line tagger. See this thread.

There is a new version of the "aacenc32.dll"
(2.5.5.8) released with latest Nero v6.0.0.19.

I wonder what has changed for the encoder.

Menno or Ivan, can you please share?

Encoder contains couple of new psychoacoustic tools and  quality fixes for lot of samples that made problems earlier (death2, drone, ...)

Hmm, I just noticed something... if this is the behavior of the updated .dll from Ahead, someone please say so, but...

Using the Nero UI, whenever encoding with a low VBR preset, such as Radio :: Low, the resulting file has a samplerate of 32kHz... When the same preset is used with NEncode, it has a 44.1kHz samplerate.

Does NEncode skip a step in calculating whether or not to resample the audio data?

If so, it could lead to some rather bad low-bitrate encodings from NEncode... o.O
